A Little About Me
I am the founder of Thrive Psychotherapy in London, Ontario! I started this practice in July 2022 to be able to provide a variety of relational and trauma informed services to the London community. Prior to private practice I worked within school and community mental health systems.
When you are feeling stuck or disconnected from the life you want to lead, or your past is unresolved and is interrupting your current life, I hope to bring my warm presence, empathy, and genuine curiosity to help close the gap between where you are and where you want to be. This process can help you focus on moving forward and developing a deeper understanding of yourself.
I work with clients who have experienced trauma or other overwhelming life stressors that impact their current life. I have specialized experience and immense passion for working with teens, adults, and families who have been dealing with life stressors and transitions, interpersonal challenges, difficulties from the past, and big emotions in the present.
I create a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space for you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your feelings, behaviours, and experiences to find hope, peace, and healing in your life.
I work collaboratively with my clients from a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, drawing from Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Attachment-Based Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and a relational, humanistic lens to create a custom intervention plan for each person I have the pleasure of working with.
I bring all of me to this role, which extends beyond psychotherapist, business owner, and clinical supervisor. I am a partner, a pet owner, a lover of movement, dance, and music, an eager traveller, a connection seeker, an avid reader, and happiest with good food, positive relationships, and laughter. I am always searching for the sun and continuously on my own path of self-discovery and growth.
It is my hope that in working together, we can learn to thrive.
