Individual Therapy

Therapy tailored for children and youth uses developmentally-attuned, creative, and expressive modalities (play therapy, art therapy, CBT, etc.). Thrive supports clients aged 5+ in navigating emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges.
Young clients often find safer ways to express themselves, heal big feelings, build coping skills, and strengthen connections with peers and family. With caregiver involvement as appropriate, therapy fosters environments where children feel understood and empowered to grow.
Child Therapy can lead to improved self esteem, improved relationships with others, better able to manage big emotions, improved regulation, decrease in school problems.
Free and Low Cost Therapy
We believe cost should never be a barrier to care. Through our intern program and sliding scale options, we offer free and low-cost therapy, with rates typically ranging from $0 to $80 per session.

Clinical Supervision
Ashley and Lalita are CRPO-approved clinical supervisors offering individual, dyadic, and group supervision to therapists and interns across Ontario.
Supervision at Thrive cultivates clinical growth, reflective skill, ethical practice, stronger therapeutic presence, and sustainable well-being among clinicians. For supervisees at any stage, it’s a space of collaboration, learning, and accountability.
Supervision allows supervisee’s to nurture their skills, enhance safe and effective use of self, safeguard the wellbeing of the client, and elevate their practice.
Group Therapy & Psychoeducational Workshops
We offer group therapy and workshops to bring participants together in a supportive, therapist-guided environment. Topics may include stress & burnout, ADHD, parenting, relationships, and mental health strategies.
In groups, people often find they’re not alone in their struggles, and they leave with both practical tools and a sense of belonging. These settings are a more affordable and relational way to engage in therapy while learning from others facing similar journeys.

Community Presentations
Thrive provides tailored mental health presentations for schools, workplaces, nonprofits, and community organizations. Subjects include burnout, trauma-informed workplaces, self-care, and mental health education.
These sessions are designed to inform, destigmatize, spark conversation, and bring wellness knowledge into systems and communities. Participants often gain practical strategies and a deeper awareness of mental health challenges and opportunities.
Presentations will come from a lens that blends research with practice based knowledge and experiential learning to support your unique needs to improve the overall wellness of your team.
