As a psychotherapist I am continuously inspired by my clients and have seen how motivated individuals can create meaningful change within themselves and their lives. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your healing journey as I know how hard it can be to do this work even when you truly desire change.
I work with individuals 18+ who feel as though something is preventing them from living their best and most authentic life. This may be difficulties with emotional regulation, substance use, feelings of anxiety and panic, unhealed trauma, or a pervasive feeling that something is just “not right”. If this is you- my hope is to help you to feel as though you do not have to face these challenges alone. Therapy can help you to understand yourself and your life patterns, improve your relationships, develop coping skills and new ways of managing difficulties, and to feel more grounded and in control of your life.
As your therapist, my goal is to provide an environment that allows you to feel safe, respected, and validated while we embark on this collaborative work. My approach will be individualized to your concerns and unique characteristics, while pulling from the concepts and interventions found in Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Based CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Attachment Theory.
